I veered away from abstract painting for a number of years because I thought it was too cryptic, misunderstood and too difficult to sell. I basically pushed it to the side for reasons that I should not have given any authority to, and because that, I suffered deep inside my psyche. The medium of painting called me back with force so great, it put me physically in danger. I had to take heed. Seen above is my painting called ;Visitation, No. 1′, part of the series I call ‘Le tourbillon de la vie’, or ‘the whirlwind of life’.
