Kodak and a Photograph of Shenzhen Gymnast as taken by Norm Yip

In a rather hurried state of affairs, I was approached by Kodak if it would be possible to use one of my photographs of a Shenzhen gymnast I took a few months for an advertisement to be shown in a South China Morning Post feature on the Beijing Olympics.

As with most advertising, the name or author of the photographer rarely is showcased, although I would have loved to see a photo credit. Nevertheless, Kodak has allowed me to showcase the advertisement on my website.

Kodak selectively chose this image of the young gymnast doing a pose on the bar with obvious training equipment and facilities in the background to give the reader a sense that the athletes are in full great training -- a direct relationship that works hand in hand to their slogan "Picture The Dream'.
