The image of my friend Hermann was used in the creation of this arresting portrait image. My mood was increasing contemplative and pensive during this period, as I was exploring the realms of image transfers and acrylics. I felt akin to the distressed imagery and wanted to photographs that match the worn and torn look of the transfer.
